We all know that "A cup of tea a day keeps the dentist away".
According to the latest research, drinking 6-8 cups a day can offer you significant benefits. The caffeine in tea helps fight heart disease, leading to lower risk of heart attack and stroke. It also improves brain power, making drinkers feel more alert and cheerful. It also increases longevity.

If you like green tea, it is more beneficial and can help you lose weight too.

The antioxidants (called flavonoids) present in green tea help manage the level of free radicals present in the body. (Free radicals are certain molecules produced by the body due to aging, pollution, poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle and damage cells and tissues if they increase).

p.s.1. Do not have tea with meals- the body absorbs less iron from the meal due to the presence of tanin in tea.
2. Tea can never harm you if a glass of water is taken before having tea.
